SOWFI’s Annual General Meeting will take place at 11.30 am, Woorabinda Education Centre, Stirling SA on Saturday 9th August 2025. As with previous years, it will follow SOWFI’s annual Spring Fling workshop.
As with each AGM, a portion of the Board will see their two-year term of appointment to the SOWFI Board expire.
You are invited to consider formally nominating and standing to be elected to the SOWFI Board at the AGM for one of the following positions:
Chairperson
Treasurer (1 year term)
Membership (1 year term)
Fundraising Officer
General Members
Serving on the Board provides you with a direct say on SOWFI’s management and strategic direction. It also gives you:
Experience managing a volunteer organisation
Exposure to human resource management, financial management, fundraising and organisational governance
Strengthened leadership and strategic decision-making skills, and
Opportunities to expand your network across the sector and government
